Builder/Architect
Our goal at Doug Pitts Construction is to build homes that reflect the lifestyle of our clients. Fun projects, neat ideas and things outside the box are right up our alley. An indoor pool with a 60' corkscrew water slide, an underground shooting range, gun safes with vault doors, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, keg beer systems, dumb waiters, elevators, and outdoor kitchens with custom-made smokers are just a few of the fun things we have constructed. Doug spent several years in the classroom teaching high school students the basics in construction, woodworking, metalworking, and drafting while working in construction professionally. After teaching, he was employed by a commercial contractor as a carpenter and moved quickly up the ladder from job site superintendent to project manger responsible for projects with budgets well over 15 million dollars. This has given Doug the experience needed to devote himself entirely to his own company, Doug Pitts Construction. Since starting in 1993, DPC has been building and renovating custom homes and handles everything from basic additions to exclusive upscale new construction. We pride our self on building homes reflective of the homeowners and their individual lifestyles. Taking time to get to know our clients and incorporating their personalities and passions into each project is a part of our job we truly enjoy. 417-840-5759
“The 417 Idea Home in Summit Ridge was one of our favorite homes to design this year”, says Ron Hill of Euro World Design. Ron Hill and the Euro World Design Team, located in Ozark, Missouri, have been designing homes with the warmth and character you would find in Old World communities since 1992. Our firm designs residential and small commercial projects. Euro World also designs custom homes and sells predesigned homes The location was very influential on how the new 417 Idea Home was arranged on the lot. There are wonderful views in all directions, which emphasized the layout to accommodate more peripheral viewing. We tried to get the most bang for the buck by still providing a lot of character, and at the same time, being budget conscious. The rectangular foot print of the home helps keep the cost down, but it also sneaks a few round elements in on the inside of the roof structure. This allows for more interest on the inside without creating a complicated roof. The Old World/Euro World Style was a requirement of the new home owners and looks great in the Summit Ridge community. The entrance to Summit Ridge has some of the same character and was designed by Euro World. Chad and Wendy Potter are very family oriented and enjoy making memories for their children. The home reflects this in how the children’s rooms and fun areas are arranged. The home was designed with an open floor plan which acts as a magnetic force to help huddle the family together and create a wonderful setting for entertaining friends and relatives. Incorporated in this beautiful 6800 square foot home are the following:
